National Basketball Finals To Brighten Sunshine State

The 2024 Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 National Finals will heat up this year when it goes up north to the Sunshine Coast. The best of the best will converge at the University of Sunshine Coast and Caloundra Indoor Stadium from August 16-18, where the National Champions will be crowned.

'Huge for us’: event’s healthy boost for region

From April 13-21, the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, better known as The Aussies, will be held across four beaches – Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba and Coolum.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role First Nations people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
