Upgrade boosts comfort at iconic beachside holiday park
Visitors and locals are enjoying a more comfortable and accessible stay at Dicky Beach Holiday Park, with the completion of a major amenities upgrade.

The project has delivered a brand new, modern amenities building along with improvements to existing facilities, lifting the quality and comfort of one of the region’s most popular coastal parks.
Sunshine Coast Council Division 2 Councillor Terry Landsberg said the upgrade was an important investment in the community and visitor experience.
“Dicky Beach Holiday Park is a favourite for locals and visitors, and these new facilities make it an even better place to stay,” Cr Landsberg said.
“We’ve created a space that is modern, practical and welcoming for everyone who comes here.”
Designed for comfort and ease
The new amenities building features contemporary toilets, showers and wash areas, with an improved layout that makes it easier for guests to move through the space.
Upgrades to the existing amenities building, including a new roof, will also improve durability and reduce maintenance needs.
“This is about providing clean, reliable and easy-to-use facilities that meet current expectations,” Cr Landsberg said.
“It’s an improvement that makes a big difference to people’s stay.”

Accessible for all, built to last
The project includes fully accessible and ambulant-compliant facilities, helping ensure the park can be enjoyed by people of all abilities.
Upgraded pathways and better site access further improve safety and convenience for all users.
Designed for coastal conditions, the facilities use durable materials that will stand up to the environment and support long-term use.
Landscaping and surrounding works have also been completed, helping the new amenities blend in with the natural character of the park.
A boost for the local economy
Cr Landsberg said the completed upgrade would strengthen the appeal of Dicky Beach as a key destination on the Sunshine Coast.
“High-quality facilities encourage people to stay longer and come back again,” he said.
“That’s good for our local businesses and supports jobs across our region.”
The upgraded Dicky Beach Holiday Park is open and ready to welcome visitors, offering a more comfortable and enjoyable coastal getaway.
