A vibrant calendar of NAIDOC Week events across the Sunshine Coast
From 3 July, updated Sunshine Coast dog laws mean some changes to off-leash areas, new seasonal restrictions and no dogs in certain locations, so dog owners are encouraged to check before they go.
The Sunshine Coast is set to come alive this July with a dynamic program of major sporting events, cultural celebrations and community experiences, reinforcing the region as a premier winter events destination.
The Sunshine Coast will welcome more than 1,200 athletes, officials, volunteers and supporters from across Australia and the Pacific for the 2026 Australian Deaf Games from 4–11 July, 2026.
