With the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting heavy rain and storms all week, we may continue to see localised flooding and closures on local roads.

Sunshine Coast Council’s Disaster Hub will keep you up to date during a weather event.

Check out your local council’s Disaster information dashboard, now – before you need it.

You’ll find essential local information including:

  • flood mapping
  • road closures
  • rainfall
  • school closures
  • operational sandbag locations
  • as well as important links and information.

You can also sign up for early warning alerts for severe, weather warnings, and flash flooding incidents, on your phone via the Sunshine Coast App.

For up-to-date weather information, visit The Bureau of Meteorology.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role First Nations people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
