Brisbane Roar have confirmed that their Round 4 Isuzu UTE A-League Men fixture against Newcastle Jets will be played at the stunning Sunshine Coast Stadium, Bokarina on Sunday, November 9 with kick off from 4pm (local time).

After an incredible pre-season fixture against the Central Coast Mariners at the same ground, which attracted nearly 7,000 fans, Brisbane Roar’s aim is to well and truly sell out the venue for the upcoming fixture.

Sunshine Coast Strong Economy Councillor Terry Landsberg was keen to welcome Brisbane Roar back to the Sunshine Coast Stadium after their pre-season match the Central Coast Mariners.

“Events like this not only showcase top-tier football but also bring our community together and highlight our region as a premier sporting destination,” Cr Landsberg said.

“With the Sunshine Coast set to co-host the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including preliminary football matches right here at Sunshine Coast Stadium, to secure this Round 4 fixture is another fantastic step in building that legacy.”

Speaking on the announcement, Chief Operations Officer, Zac Anderson said we’re thrilled to be bringing Round 4 of the Isuzu UTE A-Leagues to the Sunshine Coast in what will be a historic day for not just football in the region but the competition as a whole.

"The region has shown incredible support to the Roar, and it’s fantastic to continue strengthening that connection with our fans up the Bruce Highway (M1)," Mr Anderson said.

"Sunshine Coast Stadium provides a great atmosphere for football, and we’re looking forward to another exciting day out for our supporters and the local community.

“We wish to thank the Sunshine Coast Stadium & Sunshine Coast Council for their ongoing support.”
