The inaugural Rugby Championship Under-20, to be played at the Sunshine Coast Stadium, Bokarina on Australia’s eastern seaboard, kicks-off on Thursday 2 May. featuring the Australia U20, New Zealand U20, Junior Springboks and Los Pumitas over the three match days.

The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games are fast approaching, and Sunshine Coast Council Mayor Rosanna Natoli will be there representing the Sunshine Coast’s interests and to learn and participate in the on-ground Olympic Family Program.

The 2024 Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 National Finals will heat up this year when it goes up north to the Sunshine Coast. The best of the best will converge at the University of Sunshine Coast and Caloundra Indoor Stadium from August 16-18, where the National Champions will be crowned.

SANZAAR has announced the match schedule and venue for the inaugural The Rugby Championship (TRC) Under-20 tournament that will be played in May 2024 on the Sunshine Coast. The Championship will see the up-and-coming stars of Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa rugby do battle.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role First Nations people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
