To mark seven years until the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Sunshine Coast launched the 7 Years to Grow initiative. A community-driven celebration focused on environmental growth and Olympic spirit.

More than 2,700 trees have been given away to residents, schools, clubs and community groups across the Sunshine Coast.

This photo gallery captures the vibrant tree planting events and giveaways held across the region, from Lake Kawana to Maleny, where locals came together to green the Sunshine Coast and grow a lasting legacy.
