Tickets released to The Art of Modern Leadership event on the Coast

From navigating the Air Force to the boardrooms of the ABC and across the globe, popular columnist and bestselling author Kirstin Ferguson will share her experience and stories with Sunshine Coast residents at a special evening event this month.

The 2023 Australia Day Honours List dynamo will share what it takes to be a great leader in work and in life at Venue 114, Bokarina, on Thursday, July 20.

The night is presented by Sunshine Coast Libraries in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network, where attendees will enjoy an hour mingling before the show with live music, cash bar and light refreshments.

Kirstin is a globally recognised leadership expert, best-selling author, columnist, and company director. With more than three decades of leadership experience, she has a PhD in leadership and culture, and was the only Australian to be recognised in a recent list of the world’s top 30 leadership thinkers to watch.

Sunshine Coast Council Community Portfolio Councillor David Law said Council was proud to be able to bring this event to the community.

Event details

When: Thursday, July 20, 2023
Where: Venue 114 is located at 114 Sportsman Parade, Bokarina
Time: Doors open at 6pm, with mingling during the Hour of Power, light refreshments provided. Events starts at 7pm.

Cost: Tickets are $25 per person.

About Kirstin

Kirstin also has honours degrees in Law and History. She has more than a decade of experience on a range of public and private company boards, including an appointment by the Australian Prime Minister as Acting Chair and Deputy Chair of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

She has been the CEO of a global consulting company and began her career as an Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.

An author of two books, Kirstin’s latest book, Head & Heart: The Art of Modern Leadership, went straight to the bestseller lists within days of release. She also writes a popular weekly column for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age on work, leadership, and careers. She was awarded an AM in the Australia Day 2023 honours list.
