Sunshine Coast Libraries

Our Libraries also offer a diverse program of free or low-cost activities throughout June.

Climate ready community: 16–26 June, multiple libraries — a free, interactive workshop featuring The Adaptation Game. While playing you will explore real‑world weather and climate challenges. Work with other locals to explore scenarios like heatwaves, storms, fires and flooding, and discover simple actions you can take at home and in your neighbourhood.

Our Heritage, Our Stories: Wednesdays, 10am — Discover memorable stories about the people, places and history that have shaped the Sunshine Coast through a series of engaging local heritage videos. These weekly Wednesday screenings showcase a remarkable collection of recordings captured over many years, featuring local people sharing their memories of Sunshine Coast history and events. The videos change each week and are drawn from the Cultural Heritage and Heritage Library collections.
