Calling all students and educators - the inaugural Future Skills Summit, proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council, TAFE Queensland and Study Sunshine Coast, is taking place on April 30 at TAFE Mooloolaba.

The Future Skills Summit is set to revolutionise how we prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.

One of the core pillars of the Future Skills Summit is its immersive workshops, which cover a diverse range of topics spanning from artificial intelligence and robotics to sustainability and creative problem-solving.

The hands-on sessions provide students with a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies and explore innovative ideas in a supportive environment.

Students will select two of the six workshops offered in the streams.

In addition to workshops, attendees will have the chance to hear from inspirational keynote speakers who are experts and thought leaders across various industries.

These speakers will share their insights and experiences, providing invaluable guidance to students as they embark on their own journeys towards success.

The Future Skills Summit will offer insights into emerging career pathways through a dedicated Career Pathways Panel chaired by students.

This panel will provide students with valuable information about the future of work and offer practical advice on how to prepare for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

One of the most valuable aspects of the summit is the opportunity for students to network with peers, industry professionals, educators and potential mentors. Building these connections early on can be instrumental in shaping a student’s future trajectory and opening doors to exciting opportunities.

Whether you’re an educator looking to bring a cohort of students or an individual student eager to explore the possibilities that lie ahead, the Future Skills Summit welcomes you.
