Fall in love with your library
From 9–14 February, visit your local Library to celebrate the stories, characters, and chapters that make your heart flutter.

Sunshine Coast Libraries are turning up the romance as they celebrate Library Lovers’ Day!
From 9–14 February, visit your local Library to celebrate the stories, characters, and chapters that make your heart flutter.
Strong Community Portfolio Councillor Taylor Bunnag said the week‑long celebration was a great way for the community to explore everything libraries had to offer.
“Libraries are such important places in our communities,” Cr Bunnag said.
“I encourage you to join in on the celebrations by attending an event or completing the Library Lovers’ Bingo card challenge. It’s a great way to uncover something new and experience just how much our libraries provide.
“Visit your local library and explore the incredible range of services, programs and resources available to everyone.”
❤️ How to Celebrate Library Lovers’ Day
Try your hand at papercraft with Julia Quinn where she’ll show you how to turn recycled book pages into flowers, hearts, and other charming creations.
Take on the Library Lovers’ Bingo challenge
Prefer a challenge? Pick up a Library Lovers’ Bingo card and complete the reading-inspired challenges by 28 February. Those who do will be treated with a library book bag.
Go on a Blind Date With a Book
Let library staff play matchmaker! Adult readers can borrow a mystery, staff-wrapped book and see if it’s love at first page.
Drop into the library on Saturday 14 February to enjoy a complimentary heart-shaped chocolate. Because nothing pairs better with a good book than a little treat.
