Extreme Sport brings world tour to the Sunny Coast

HYDROTURF and KRASH SCX 2023 is a multi-action sports event, returning in 2023 for its Fifth year on the beautiful Alexandra Headland, Sunshine Coast. It joins freeride jetski, skateboard, scooter, BMX, roller skate and roller blade into one exciting event that is FREE for the public.

The HYDROTURF and KRASH SCX 2023 event will take place June 2 - 4 with plenty of action across multiple disciplines:

HYDROTURF and KRASH INDUSTRIES IFWA WORLD TOUR

(3 days) where the world’s best freeride jetskier riders fight for the title of IFWA WORLD CHAMPION! Sunshine Coast hosts the first leg of the IFWA world tour.

JETPILOT SCX Freeride

(3 days) where all levels of rider can enjoy fun, safe and encouraging opportunities to by their best. Lots of prizes and lots of fun for all level of Freerider

SCX SCOOTER and SKATE Park

Competition (Saturday 3rd with Sunday 4th as backup for rain) comprises of ALL AGES and ALL LEVEL of Skateboard, Scooter, BMX and Roller Skating/blading competing for fun and prizes. (under7/ 12/ 16 / OPEN categories) Saturday starting 8am (Sunday backup)

SCX 2023 welcomes all to come and express themselves in the ocean or park. With the best coaches, mentors and riders represented, the event is a safe place for the competitive and the keen.

You may win Encouragement or Peoples Choice if you are having a go. That’s what it’s about for us!

Free entry to the public

You can join the freeride stoke with a RAFFLE for a stand-up KRASH Industries freeride jetski: the “FootRocket” package valued at nearly $18K.

SCX Beach and Beats Bar

Hosted by BLACKFLAG will also be extending its opening hours to 10pm for Saturday and Sunday, providing a fantastic venue with music, food, and drinks for a vibrant nightlife experience. 

The event strives to promote healthy competition while "sharing the stoke" with the entrants, all while drawing attention to the action sports industry, as well as the host region and official destination partner: the Sunshine Coast.
