Have you noticed the diversity of butterflies fluttering around the Sunshine Coast lately?

Can you identify the various butterflies among the range of colours, patterns, sizes, and flight styles?

The Sunshine Coast Council is partnering with several environmental organisations and groups to host a series of butterfly count walks and workshops during March for the Sunshine Coast Big Butterfly Count.

Register to join a walk with a butterfly expert to build your identification skills and knowledge. Collect valuable data that helps us understand the distribution of butterflies across the Sunshine Coast region, aiding in the conservation of these fabulous invertebrates.

You don’t need to be a butterfly expert to participate.

For more information or to register for an event, visit the Big Butterfly Count website.
