For Kristina Karlsson, founder of beloved stationery company kikki.K, it started with a simple idea at her kitchen table and a vision to inspire people to live their best life.

Kristina will bring her story, wisdom and energy to the Sunshine Coast as the keynote speaker at the Thriving Through Change Business Expo, held at Maroochy RSL on Wednesday, August 27.

Supported by Sunshine Coast Council, this free event, now in its fifth year, is more than just an expo – it’s a lifeline for local businesses navigating change, growth and resilience.

Kristina’s keynote, “Dream Big, Start Small”, will take you behind the scenes of her entrepreneurial journey – from navigating financial hurdles and building a purpose-driven team, to staying true to her values through every twist and turn.

Kristina said her story was a powerful reminder that big dreams were possible, even in uncertain times.

“I believe every business owner has the power to create something extraordinary even in the face of uncertainty,” Mrs Karlsson said.

“I’m so excited to share my journey and help Sunshine Coast businesses reconnect with their purpose, dream big and take bold steps forward.”

“It’s a chance to build connections, learn new skills and prepare for the future in a supportive environment,” Mayor Natoli said.

“Whether you're a startup founder, a seasoned operator, or part of a business support network, Thriving Through Change is your opportunity to gain fresh insights and walk away with practical tools to thrive.”
