🥦 Winter Planting

• Best time to sow cool-season crops—succession plant for continuous harvest.
• Prioritise sun-loving plants; move containers to chase sunlight.
• Shade-tolerant edibles still thrive in low-light spots.

🌱 Lawn Care

• Mow regularly to prevent weed seed heads.
• Top dress with compost, rock minerals + liquid seaweed.
• Leave mower catcher off to self-mulch.

✂️ Prune Fruit Trees

• June–July is ideal for pruning citrus and deciduous fruit trees.
• Remove dead/diseased branches and open up canopy.
• Plant bare-rooted fruit trees now for savings.

💧 Water Wisely

• Reduce watering—plants grow slower in winter.
• Save rainwater, enrich soil with compost and worm castings.
• Protect from drying winds.

🪴 Container Gardens

• Refresh potting mix before planting.
• Use quality mix for moisture and nutrient retention.
