BushCare Sunshine Coast have partnered with Take Action for Pumicestone Passage, to start a new group.

They are holding an open day on Thursday 8 July from 8am to 10am.

Come along to learn about this opportunity to create and improve habitat for local wildlife and help repair and restore the foreshore by:
• Controlling environmental weeds
• Planting native trees, shrubs and groundcovers
• Picking up rubbish
• General care for the environmental areas at Golden Beach.
• Meet at the park on the corner of Earnshaw Street and Golden Beach Esplanade
• Tools, equipment and morning tea are provided.

The group is fully supported by council and will meet at 8am, the second Thursday of every month (except December and January).

No commitment necessary, join us when you can.

Visit Council's website for more information.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role First Nations people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
