Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary is a significant habitat for many amazing species of birds from the beautiful sacred kingfisher to the stately royal spoonbill.

Join expert birder, Rob Kernot, for a guided walk through the Sanctuary to see what winged wonders you might find in this bird watchers’ paradise.

Come dressed for a walk outdoors with comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and insect repellant. Bring a water bottle and your own binoculars (if you have them).

This walk is suitable for all ages. Walk numbers are limited and bookings essential.
