Free online workshop to take your garden from ho-hum to holy moly!

Have you started growing your own food, and ready to learn more?

In the Take Your Garden to the Next Level workshop, hosted by the Grow It Local initiative, expert Adam Hancock will guide participants through his tips and tricks to take any food patch to the next level.

The hour-long digital workshop is offered free to all Sunshine Coast residents, through a partnership between Sunshine Coast Council’s Living Smart program and Grow It Local.

Adam is a professional gardener and passionate home grower and will share how he gets his plants jumping out of the ground, including:

  • How to look after your soil
  • Choosing the right plants
  • Keeping the patch pumping year-round.

Supported by Sunshine Coast Council’s Living Smart Program, the Grow It Local initiative aims to bring fun and creativity to food growing, with the awards featuring quirky categories to engage growers of all means and expertise.
