This event is brought to you by the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden’s The Backyard Series.

Learn how to create a bushfood garden in your own backyard. Presented by Veronica Cougan.

For thousands of years, ‘bushfood’ plants have been an integral part of Indigenous people’s staple diet and culture.

Today these native foods are being reappreciated for the unique flavours they offer, and of course, their importance for biodiversity.

Join Veronica from Witjuti Grub Bushfood Nursery as she shares the knowledge and experiences, gained over 25 years involvement with native food plants.

Want to get your taste buds tingling? A wide range of fresh seasonal bushfood produce will be supplied for tastings.
