The Cemetery Service team are moving to Council's Customer Service Centres to ensure residents can access support with improved convenience.

An old tree with autumn leaves is in the foreground, stretching its branches over a line of gravestones that extend into the distance.

To better serve our customers and region, Sunshine Coast Council’s Cemetery Services will soon be available at our three Service Centres.

Strong Community Councillor David Law said the relocation reflected Council’s ongoing commitment to providing sustainable cemetery management, while also delivering respectful support to the community.

”Offering cemetery services at Council’s Service Centres ensures residents can access cemetery services closer to home, with improved convenience, as well as deliver compassionate, efficient, and accessible services,” Cr Law said.

“Council’s Cemetery Services play a vital role in supporting our community through some of life’s most significant moments.”
