Exhibition: Elizabeth Shaw: Radical Localism & Legacy
Date: December 9 – January 29
What: Be inspired by highly respected artist, master jeweller and lecturer, Dr Elizabeth Shaw, whose practice spans several decades. Each artwork is a vehicle of Elizabeth’s memories and influences, and also shows the history of sustainable jewellery practice in Queensland.

You’ll find innovative and exciting small scale sculptural artworks worn on the body, that push the boundaries of what is jewellery.

Accompanying Shaw’s exhibition is a collection of artworks by some of her past students. Legacy highlights these amazing makers, showing echoes of influence from training under Dr Shaw along with their own stories, concepts, and ideas.

From delicate to robust, both exhibitions will change ways of thinking about jewellery.
