The cricket storage shed that’s a big hit

It’s not every day you see a storage shed turning heads!

Captivating artwork reflecting the heritage of Landsborough’s Cricket Club has become a bold new artistic addition to Peace Park.

Sunshine Coast Council has recently installed a new storage shed for the players at the ground, which is home to the Landsborough Loggers Cricket Club.

What sets this shed apart is its façade. It pays homage to the club and the entry gates to Peace Park, a local heritage-listed asset.

The artwork depicts the club’s unique emblem, which incorporates the axes of the early loggers, cricket stumps and ball. The design also interprets the style and significance of the entry gate metal patterns.

This eye-catching addition has certainly improved the colorbond shed – a clear vision which both the former Councillor Rick Baberowski and current Division 1 Councillor Jenny Broderick shared.
