Skating fun ramps up for the holidays

Calling all skaters – have you tried out the new half pipe in the hinterland yet?

Sunshine Coast Council has finished installing a new half pipe ramp, with a railing on top, at Maleny Skate Park. It's right next to the main concrete skate park at the Maleny Showgrounds.

Due to age and safety concerns, the existing metal half pipe was replaced with a modern one.

The word on the street is that the local kids love it and it’s getting plenty of use already these school holidays.
