Ministry of Sound take over Venue 114

Daytime dancing, classic 90s anthems and home by nightfall – this July, locals will have the chance to relive their clubbing days without the late‑night finish.

Ministry of Sound Testament – Sunshine Coast 90s is bringing a feel‑good throwback to Venue 114 on Sunday 26 July, running from 12pm to 8pm.  

The 18+ event is designed for fans who grew up with the music, love dance and enjoy being tucked up at a reasonable hour. 

The event celebrates the house and club tracks that defined the 90s and early 2000s club culture, with specially curated sessions and a lineup whose influence helped shape modern dance music.  

Iconic DJs who shaped the 90s dance scene 

The Queensland line‑up features internationally renowned DJs who helped make Ministry of Sound a global name.  

Including Danny Tenaglia (USA) and Darren Emerson (UK), alongside UK favourite Brandon Block and Australian dance music icons John Course, Mark Dynamix and De Saint. 

Australian DJ Mark Dynamix is widely recognised as one of the country’s most influential dance music figures, with a career spanning decades and strong ties to the Ministry of Sound brand. Known for his high‑energy sets and role in shaping Australia’s club scene, he remains a favourite with fans of classic house and dance anthems. 

The Sunshine Coast show forms part of Ministry of Sound’s return to Australia, with strong interest from fans keen to reconnect with the music that shaped modern dance culture.
