Sunshine Coast Council has launched the second phase of its Shine a Light on Racism campaign.

Sunshine Coast Councillors and Shine a Light on Racism campaign patrons smile to the camera at the official campaign launch.

We’re encouraging the Sunshine Coast community to get to know your neighbours, teammates and work colleagues to foster understanding and unity.

Ten Sunshine Coast locals are helping to champion the campaign and spread the message that everyone is welcome here on the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role First Nations people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
