The vision for the Ballinger and Stringybark Roads Active Transport Link project is to encourage more people to walk and ride, to boost health and reduce our reliance on cars.
This will be achieved by creating safer, smoother and more accessible paths that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities, as well as making safety improvements for riders using roads.
Sunshine Coast Council is developing active transport options which better consider the use of on-road, off-road, shared and separated cycling facilities.
