Horizon Festival artist call out

Call to artists to work with Horizon Festival closes soon

Jack MacRae, 2022 Horizon Festival artist
Jack MacRae is an emerging painter and collage artist primarily focused on abstraction. Jack's works were behind the new look for the 2022 Horizon Festival

Horizon Festival, the Sunshine Coast’s premier arts festival, is seeking expressions of interest from artists and creative practitioners to work with the festival from 2024 and beyond.

The call-out closes February 1, 2024 and invites ambitious, practicing artists that live, work, or have a connection to the Sunshine Coast to reach out—no theme, no guidelines, no agenda — just the artist and their work.

Horizon Festival showcases the region’s unique stories, authentic lifestyle, and beautiful landscape and is at the forefront of the thriving, growing and evolving Sunshine Coast arts sector.

Now, the festival, which provides a curated platform to present and develop powerful arts experiences is looking for new ways to work with artists and is calling on designers (from graphic to fabric), artists, performers, musicians, and all other disciplines, to apply

From start to finish, Horizon Festival is committed to embedding Sunshine Coast artists throughout the festival program, which aims to enrich and transform lives through the arts.
