Help guide Sunshine Coast flying fox management
Council is developing the next Sunshine Coast Flying Fox Management Plan. Take your seat at the table and help shape a balanced approach to flying fox management.

You are invited to participate in a three-day community consultation event where your input will help shape the next iteration of the Sunshine Coast Draft Flying Fox Management Plan.
After 10 years of implementing our current flying fox program, and with technical reviews and evaluations complete, Council is seeking community input on the future direction of Sunshine Coast flying fox management.

This event brings together community members, experts, government representatives and people with lived experience of flying foxes.
You will be part of a 3-day Future Search conference – a collaborative process that will explore challenges, identify common ground and develop practical actions for the future.
Spaces are limited. Register now and help shape a balanced approach that supports both our environment and community wellbeing.
This event will provide an opportunity for you to:
- share your experiences and aspirations
- hear from experts who will lead discussions on conservation, planning, management, and resilience
- contribute to shaping a collaborative approach that balances environmental, social and planning priorities in our Sunshine Coast Biosphere.
