Here’s your chance to let us know how you and your furry friend would use a dog exercise area in Caloundra West.
We are excited to announce that we are exploring the possibility of creating a new fenced dog exercise area in Canavan Gracie Park, Caloundra West.
This initiative comes in response to numerous requests from our community over the past several years.
After careful consideration, we have selected Canavan Gracie Park as the most suitable location for this facility.
The park meets all the necessary safety and usability requirements, making it an ideal spot for our furry friends to play and exercise.
We need your feedback
Your input is crucial in helping us understand the community's interest in this project.
We invite you to share your thoughts on the proposed location and let us know how often you and your dog would use the area.

What happens next?
The feedback we receive during this engagement phase will guide our decision-making process.
If the community supports this project, we will develop it subject to detailed design and available funding in future years. We have not scheduled construction of the proposed dog exercise area.
Please note that additional off-street parking is not being considered, so users will need to park on-street or be within walking distance of the area.
