Help ensure the Sunshine Coast festive season experience meets the region's needs?

From events, decorations and banners, the Festive Season Program includes activities celebrating Christmas, New Years Eve and Australia Day across the Sunshine Coast.

Council is seeking community feedback to help ensure festive events meet the needs and expectation of the Sunshine Coast community.

Feedback gathered will help Council understand

  • marketing and awareness for Council events
  • awareness of community funded events
  • demographic and location patterns
  • broad festive attendance pattens and motivations.

Data and information gathered through this process will be used to inform future programming and delivery.

Festive and Commemorative Grants Program

Council will also reach out to community groups, who receive funding under the Festive and Commemorative Grants Program.

The program funds community-led festive events and is important to the success of long-standing events and also gives new communities the opportunity to celebrate.
