Experience the irrepressible rhythms and fiery heat radiating off the music of Spain and Latin America at The Events Centre, Caloundra on Sunday 22 June. 

Featuring one of Brisbane’s most fiery and colourful classical guitarists, Clancy Anderson.

Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra’s second concert for 2025 features the fiery rhythms and sensual melodies of Latin music from around the world. Samba, Tango, Cha Cha and Flamenco. It’s going to be hard to stay in your seat for this one.

The concert will feature acclaimed Queensland guitarist Clancy Anderson performing the beloved Rodrigo Concierto de Aranjuez, a tour de force of flamenco virtuosity and soulful beauty. 

Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra will also perform the gorgeous tango Danzon no.2 by Arturo Marquez and the joyous Mexican Huapango by Moncayo. Latin inspired orchestral favourites like Bernstein’s West Side Story Suite and Ravel’s Bolero round out this program.
