Doing business at Beerwah Library
Don’t have a home office and your internet is inadequate? Your local library may be just the solution - libraries are more than books!

Meet Dale, a local businessman who uses Beerwah Library to work remotely. Dale works in civil engineering design for a consulting engineer in South Brisbane.
“Libraries are a great space to get your work done,” Dale said.
“They are open to all and come equipped with free Wi-Fi, computers and document scanning facilities. They offer quiet and collaborative spaces and the staff are all cooperative, welcoming and ready to assist.”
Beerwah Library’s outlook is particularly beautiful as it sits adjacent to a duckpond which has a calming effect if a seat by the window is available.
“I have very much appreciated being able to utilise the different spaces available in the library to practice up-coming presentations and talk with clients and local volunteer workers.
As a library member, Dale also uses the library as a source of entertainment.
“The library is also a great resource for my grandchildren. They borrow books and enjoy the entertaining games, like Connect 4 and they can play in the library space.”
If you are looking for more than just a book, why not consider visiting your local library where you can enjoy our spaces for reading, studying, working or meeting other community members. For larger meetings you can also book a meeting room at the Beerwah Meeting Place adjacent to the Beerwah Library.
