You’re invited to an evening of cultural entertainment, food and more to help celebrate Indigenous Business Month this October!
Come along and show your support to Sunshine Coast First Nations businesses at The MET in Maroochydore on Friday, October 27, from 5pm at the third annual First Nations Supplier Day.
Sunshine Coast Council Community Portfolio Councillor David Law said Supplier Day aimed to support a strong and resilient community which prioritised local First Nations businesses as the suppliers of choice.
“We want to celebrate Sunshine Coast First Nations businesses and their ongoing contributions to the economic sustainability of the Sunshine Coast area,” Cr Law said.
“We’re inviting the community to come along and connect with First Nations businesses with an opportunity to purchase through a market-style evening.
“Whether you’re a business looking to work with First Nations people, or you’re just looking for yourself, come along and connect.
“The day will also connect First Nations businesses with big business and other levels of government to understand potential opportunities and collaboration.
“It’s a chance for First Nations businesses to mentor and share knowledge with each other, enhancing resource networks.”
