VIRIDIAN CIRCUIT PARK, BIRTINYA

Rated easy - 1.2km circuit

A beautiful park for the whole family to enjoy these school holidays. This might be a short circuit, but there's plenty to extend your experience.

SUITABILITY

Wide level pathways make it perfect for all ages and abilities. Great for prams and little people on bikes.

HIGHLIGHTS

There are two separate dog off-leash enclosure areas for small and large dogs.

Playground facilities for the kids and BBQ areas overlooking the river.

There are also toilets.

There's seating at the northern end overlooking the river.

In the south-east corner of the park, the path passes beneath Kawana Way and the walk continues through to Kawana Forest.

GETTING THERE

From Kawana Way turn into Barney Moy Road by the hospital. Turn right into Birtinya Boulevard then left into Viridian Circuit. The car parking is next to the raised BBQ area.

Extend your walk by heading through to Kawana Forest. Take the path between the houses and the bush to find the starting points for the Kawana Forest Nature Walk and further along, the Kawana Forest River Trail, (about 3.6 km), which comes out at the Kawana Football club beyond the Homemaker Centre.
