This highly anticipated event is another opportunity for Sunshine Coast locals to enjoy the excitement of professional basketball in their own backyard, as the Bullets ramp up preparations for the year ahead.

The Sunshine Coast has been confirmed as the Official Host Region for the event, further strengthening the partnership between the Brisbane Bullets and Sunshine Coast Council.

Brisbane Bullets CEO Mal Watts said the event underlined the Club’s commitment to making basketball accessible across Queensland.

“Basketball is booming in Queensland, and the Sunshine Coast has always shown incredible support for the Bullets,” Mr Watts said.

“We are thrilled to return and showcase our team in front of such a passionate community.

“We see the Sunshine Coast as an important partner in growing the game across the state, and we are excited to bring the full Bullets experience to the region once again.”

The Sunshine Coast is renowned for hosting major sporting events, from surf carnivals and triathlons to elite-level fixtures in basketball, football and netball.

By welcoming the Brisbane Bullets back, the region continues to build its reputation as one of Australia’s leading destinations for sport and tourism.

The preseason game is expected to attract not only locals but also travelling fans, delivering economic and cultural benefits to the community.

Sunshine Coast Council Strong Community Portfolio Councillor Taylor Bunnag said hosting the Bullets reflected the region’s commitment to both elite sport and community experiences.

“We are proud to welcome the Brisbane Bullets back to the Sunshine Coast as the Official Host Region for this preseason clash,” Cr Bunnag said.

“Events like this provide our community with the chance to enjoy professional basketball up close while also highlighting our region as a premier destination for sport, tourism and entertainment.

“We know the Bullets have a strong following here on the Coast, and we look forward to seeing the community come together to support them.

“Beyond the game itself, events of this calibre help drive economic benefits, inspire local athletes and strengthen the Sunshine Coast’s reputation as a thriving hub for major events,” said Bunnag.

Tickets are now on sale from $39 for adults and $15 for juniors. Demand is strong, with local fans encouraged to secure their seats early to avoid disappointment.
