Athlete story: Grace's journey to Brisbane 2032
With a Paralympic Games under her belt (Paris 2024), as well as multiple global para-triathlon events, Grace has already achieved what most elite athletes dream of doing in their lifetime—and she’s only 17.
When Grace Brimelow hops onto her bike ‘JJ’ and clips her cleats into the pedals, she instantly slips into performance mode.
For Grace, it's not just about the ride — it's about the thrill of pushing her limits.
“The feeling of getting on the bike and just going as hard as you can, it’s incredible,” she says.
But her passion doesn't end with cycling. As a Sunshine Coast local, Grace’s love for the water runs deep.
“I enjoy the water so much. I’m obsessed with the water. I just love the flow of the water around me. Anytime I hop in the water, a wave of refreshment comes over me."
As a Paralympic triathlete, she excels in three demanding disciplines. And it's not enough to just be good—she's pushing the boundaries of greatness.
