A very pretty, family-friendly 2km walk or cycle around the lake, with a secret little island located right in the middle!

Suitability

This walk is accessible and suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Highlights

The walk begins at Buderim Lakeshore Park and features a playground set in amongst a beautiful green space and tree lined setting.

The walk then heads through suburban streets and links onto the lake circuit, a formed pathway around the lake.

Take your time and admire the many varieties of birdlife, including lots of swans and ducks.

There are several bench seats along the way for those wishing to enjoy the lake views, during this leisurely 30minute stroll.

Afterwards

The walk passes a local shopping strip including cafes. Grab a coffee or refreshments and let the kids run wild at the park.

How to get there

Via Sunshine Coast Motorway, take the Maroochy Blvd exit and turn on to Wises Rd. Continue along North Buderim Rd and the park is on your right.
