You cannot beat the Sunshine Coast’s first pump track at the Sugar Bag Road Mountain bike trails and while there, enjoy the cool distinctive features of the Sugar Bag network of bike trails to keep your heart pumping – fun for all ages and skill levels.

This location is suitable for all ages and levels of mountain bike enthusiasts.

Pump track highlights

This pump track is a great example of one design can fit all – whether you are four-years-old on a balance bike, just up for a bit of fun or a professional BMX rider. 

On top of that, the design allows for head-to-head racing, so grab your buddy and see who is faster, but remember no peddling.

MTB trails highlights

This network of trails has a very unique feel, given that it has over 50 built timber features to ride, some of which will challenge even the most experienced rider, while at the same time riding with the beginner in the family. Very much a choose your own adventure ride with about 12km of trails close to town.

Afterwards

You are a five-minute ride away from the coastline for a swim, followed by coffee overlooking Moffat Beach.

How to get there

Head to the Sugar Bag MTB Trails carpark on Sugar Bag Road, Caloundra. If coming from out of town (Caloundra Road) you pass the turn onto Lawman St and then turn into the carpark.
