Adventure: Brightwater ‘Loop the Lake’ walk – (3.5km)

Stunning lakeside walk or cycle with the kids, dogs or solo that can include coffee and playground stops.

Brightwater ‘Loop the Lake’ walk

A gorgeous waterside walk or cycle that can start or finish with a coffee or a play in one of the many local parks.

Suitability

Suitable for walkers and families looking for an easy ride for the younger ones. Dogs allowed on-lead on the loop (but not in playgrounds).

Highlights

This walk is a great loop along the Brightwater waterfront. Just ask any of the keen community runners who attend the Parkrun there on Saturday mornings

Flat and easy it provides a fabulous circuit for first time riders to get on their bike for a decent length. All with the easy access to follow up with some rewards for a ride well done!

Along the way there are multiple parks to stop in and check out, with some excellent picnic spaces.

As an aside, there are a couple of lake access points to go for a paddle instead, if you are inclined to get on the water.

How to get there

The best access point for this one is to come off Kawana Way at Brightwater Blvd. Just keep driving along Brightwater Blvd until you get to the parking at Lake Edge Park.
