The sandstone creek bed, combined with a constant flow of water, created the ideal place to grind axe heads, spear points and cutting stones.
Before beginning the short walk, take a moment to read the interpretive signage and learn more about the cultural significance of the area. A short 200-metre stroll along a gravel path and down a small section of stairs leads to a viewing platform overlooking the creek, where well-defined grinding grooves remain visible today.
As you explore the area, keep an eye out for evidence of the site's long history. The surrounding creek features small waterfalls and rock formations, while the nearby forest is home to native birds, goannas and other local wildlife.
