Calling all medical innovators, visionaries and curious minds - mark your calendars this November for the ultimate gathering of Healthtech professionals!

The inaugural Xplore Conference is coming to the Sunshine Coast next month with an action-packed agenda and incredible line up of speakers from around the world. 

This event is a must-attend for those keen to explore emerging healthcare trends, particularly in extended reality (XR), which combines virtual and physical realities through the use of technology.

Taking place on November 10-11 at the Mantra Mooloolaba, participants will hear, interact and engage with industry experts as they converge, take a deep dive into their research and share their lessons learned.

Headline speakers include Deborah Lee, Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Nursing (USA), who will discuss XR and its coming impact, knowing what we know.

Professor Jag Dhanda, a leading expert in XR, will share insights on Leveraging Extended Reality for Global Health and Surgical Training.

Dr Lars Riedemann, Consulting Neurologist and Digital Clinician Scientist, will explore The Intersection of Medicine and Extended Reality in Modern Healthcare.

Sunshine Coast Council Mayor Mark Jamieson said the landmark event further cemented the Sunshine Coast as a healthcare technology hub.

“Council is proud to support the Xplore Conference as part of our commitment to the health and wellbeing and tech and innovation sectors in the Regional Economic Development Strategy,” Mayor Jamieson said.

“Xplore is not just a tech conference; it's a landmark event that's further cementing the Sunshine Coast as a leading healthcare technology innovation hub in Australia.

“Beyond its academic and professional scope, Xplore aims to contribute to the local economy by attracting talent, fostering innovation and facilitating investment opportunities in the Healthtech sector.”

Xplore General Manager Bradley Chesham said the conference aimed to modernise and improve healthcare services through technology.
