The Sunshine Coast community turned out in big numbers at Tuesday’s open training session at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Bokarina.

The passionate fans, loud cheering and vibrant atmosphere has the All Blacks keen to come back to the Sunshine Coast Stadium for a second open training session this Friday, 9.30-11.30am.

Sunshine Coast Council Economy Portfolio Councillor Jason O’Pray said it was amazing to see the All Blacks valuing the Sunshine Coast community and hosting a second session this week for the fans.

“I’m sure there will be an even bigger turn out to see this successful team in person,” Cr O’Pray said.

All Blacks Manager Business & Operations Darren Shand said the team had a great time training in front of their fans on Tuesday, there was real energy, and the players loved the support.

“So, we thought we’d do it all again, and can’t wait to see everyone out there again on Friday.”

When: Friday 15 October 2021, 9.30-11.30am

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role First Nations people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
