The Frog Prince is leaping onto the stage these school holidays

In this adaptation of the classic Grimm tale, spoiled 10-year-old Juniper May encounters Gilbert Gravy, a sassy frog and an unlikely friendship blossoms.

They embark on a fantastical and uplifting journey together, learning about the importance of friendship and looking after the environment.

The Frog Prince is presented by Opera Queensland and shake & stir theatre co.

Including an energetic cast of young performers, this bright and quirky production introduces Opera’s youngest fans to composers such as Mozart, Rossini and Bizet.

Featuring striking costume design by Bianca Bulley, Opera Queensland’s Assistant Head of Wardrobe, The Frog Prince hops into the 21st century with all the transformative wonder that you’ve come to expect when Opera Queensland and shake & stir theatre co. work together.

Age recommendation: Suitable for ages 12 and under.
